its pretty hard to see a good outcome, but that might be wishful thinking on my part.
to get a sense of the levels of outright frustration at the system - one of the independants is trying to form a government across party lines.

Sounds little bit like our North/South divide.

The unique part about australia is just how harsh and empty it is - as a land mass its not much smaller the USA, yet only supports 1/10 of the population.
So you would have to ignore all the middle bit of flyover states (thats hot sand) and reduce it to having california and new york next to each other on the east coast while all the rest is texas.
no prizes for guessing why we are 2 countries.

Looking at the above map, the territorial claims by China as best described as laughably absurd.
Take one step off the beach in Borneo into the sea and one would immediately be in Chinese waters.

Brunei, Kuwait, UEA and a few other oil wells with flag do not make sense in ..
