Actually, handing power to the same party they punished a couple of years ago is pretty dumb.

The canary didn't die because this mine is dangerous, it died because it's lazy and wasn't raised with a proper work ethic.

Never criticize anyone until you've walked several kilometres in their shoes.
Because

1. You're now several kilometres away; and

2. You've got their shoes.

Of course, gridlock might not be such a bad thing: less ideology + more compromise may = sounder, centralist legislation.

It also drags the Republicrats into the driving (and blame) seat come 2012.

Well Ib, we could do it the hard way, or we could do it the easy way.

I'm obviously too mentally handicapped to look up charts. Graphs. That sort of thing. Wouldn't know where to start.

But I have an easier way. I like the easy way.

1) The CBO said recently that US borrowing is "unsustainable"

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0410/35546.html

2) The policy of the Baramba administration is according to Joseph bin Biden is to "spend our way out of bankruptcy".

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wPO1xVA ... re=related

As an amateur psychologist I am going to check to see if my diagnosis of this is correct with my higher up. Diagnosis "crazy".

But, if you are into some charts here is a basic start:

So what's the plan, Mr. P? A massive double digit cut in all government spending across the board? Slashing the size of the military and law enforcement establishments to non war footing levels? A balanced budget act? A deficit reduction timetable and program? An "Americans must pay America's way" taxation scheme?

It's kind of amusing how the right thinks about Obama far more than the left. I think Mr. Perfect thinks about Barack Obama at least ten times as often as I do. He thinks politics begin and end with Barack Obama. Which is sort of frightening.

It's not like the election of Obama had a different character than the election of Bush. People were bringing Bush into their churches and campaigning for him as a Christian Warrior from the pulpit. And then they turn around and talk trash about the Obama Messiah thing.

Mr. Perfect is right about one thing, some people never learn.

Mr P knows very well that if he takes meaningful action, the same addicted -to- easy bastards will desert him just as they just did to Obama , just as fast . Or at least, he should by now.
