Republicans yesterday voted down the Senate's two-month extension of the two-percentage-point payroll tax holiday to 4.2% from 6.2%.

"Death" of a (fill in the blank) party....over a 2 f-ing month tax holiday extension? I've taken shits that have lasted longer than 2 months. Relax...the Siberian methane gas cloud will clean this up.
The whole (American political theater) has just simply become the best absurd reality show on television. At this rate, the Kardashians will have to go straight-out porn to compete.

Nope, sorry, that was me. We had garlic bratwurst. That made my Turkish Get-Ups a bit active.
From what I have seen, TP types have not been reluctant to pay taxes so much as they are screaming mad that the taxes are poorly used. But yes, they are in principle at least not getting what they want. But dead? Talk to me mid- November.
