John Brown

I am starting a screenplay on John Brown. I've been doing preliminary research. I read A Plea for Captain John Brown by Henry David Thoreau and John Brown an Address at the 14th Anniversary of Storer College by Frederick Douglass. So much material to work with, such a rich life and a colorful cast of characters to work with.

Anyone know about this topic? Anyone know much about the history of the Abolitionist movement?

I need research materials. I haven't run out of primary source material written by people who knew him yet, but I figure I'll amass a bit of a library on the man.
