That's a clever ad. A bit of humor.
As Eastern European cars go, the Lada isn't bad. It's definitely better than a Trabant or a Yugo. It's even better than some American products, such as the Chevy Vega, Chevy Chevette and Ford Pinto. I've ridden in a Lada a few times. It's essentially an old-school Fiat.
