And Mr. Perfect illustrates exactly why talking about why Communism as a system is a digression from the topic. Because what the right refers to as 'Communism' bears little resemblance to what actual Communists consider to be Communism. It's all this weird persecution complex that people who are actually at the top of society have. Rich western capitalists talk about being oppressed by this vague 'left' that has very little actual political power in the West.

Ideas have power. The fact that you don't see vague left ideas as a threat merely means that you are more sympathetic to those views than others. Don't make the mistake of considering yourself a flawlessly objective observer.
