Not looking good for Hydrofracking

The lady pictured in this article is a friend of mine. She's got a lovely voice, raps in Sanskrit, amazing.

But...on to the topic. The news coming out of Wyoming saying that it indeed does contaminate ground water is changing the political landscape here in New York. 1000 feet from ground water is simply ridiculous, it needs to be much more than that.
The canary didn't die because this mine is dangerous, it died because it's lazy and wasn't raised with a proper work ethic.

According to my friend Ekayani featured in that article, Greg Sautner of Dimock PA has been threatened by the DEP with arrest if he doesn't stop publicly complaining about the contamination of his water supply.

It'd be great if he could get a recording of that threat.

Wow. Be a shame if some of those wells got lit. That'd be seriously hard to ignore, right there.

The people of the US are going to find themselves in the same position that indigenous people around the world have been in over and over. No real economic infrastructure on the ground> resource grab by multinationals> local backlash quashed by corrupt politicians. Just wait until they list the Amish as terrorists.
Don't know what it is, but I'm agin'it.

She offered to take me out to Dimock, I am looking forward to that trip, I want to go see it firsthand. I need to watch Gasland.
