Seriously, if the Republican party weren't actually a Socialist Neo-Liberal party that wants to concentrate the wealth in the hands of a very few, I'd probably be down. If Ron Paul and Gary Johnson were in any way indicative of the party, I'd probably be interested.

Azrael, I'm no Mitt fan but I don't have any problems with his personality, and neither should you. As non-Republicans, our superior intellects and diminished capacity for moral hypocrisy make us sympathetic to an accomplished, pragmatic, intellectual like Mitt Romney. We recognize that we are electing a chief administrator, the most capable organizer and executive for the job, not a guy we would like to have a beer with.

Granted, I do enjoy having a drink in a bar now and then, but I certainly don't like co-mingling with the dull legions of dumpy, goateed, ball-cap and jean shorts-wearing men that hang out at state fairs, rib cook-offs, and 'mom and pop' diners. And I don't expect anyone within spitting distance of the Oval Office to, either.
