Ron Paul will be a pain on both sides (both social welfare & corporate welfare recipients) , one being louder the other being well funded. Republican establishment sides with the corporations & the rich , and they may not like Ron Paul either.

But this country needs a bitter medicine , and RP is the honest doctor who can deliver the bad news and administer the medicine. If nominated ,he will get my vote. I wish he could find a like minded VP.

I cant wait to see the debate among RP & BO - these two are diametrically opposite in terms of convictions , character and courage.

He is supporting Herman Cain or so he says. Herman Cain is the perfect spoiler to keep Ron Paul out of the running. Cain doesn't have a shot, but out of everyone there he is the most likely to take votes away from Paul.

My choices remain 1) Ron Paul, close #2) Herman Cain, distant 3rd) Rick Perry, 4) Mitt Romney.

My current prognistican, 1) Cain 35% chance of winning (nomination), 2) Romney 34%, 3) Ron Paul 31%

Cain Romney would be a powerhouse, as would Romney Cain. Prefer the first. Who Paul would pick could be interesting. Worried he might pull a Perot on that score, but you take your chances.

Any of these GOP has better than 50% chance of winning. As it stands, the race is the GOP's to lose.
