The current economic situation was created by central planning, the creation of the Subprime mortgage market. Which was not created by capitalism.

Here are the people who planned it:

the viking raiders were farmers forced to steal from others cause climate change had rendered their land frozen and useless.
long term many of em settled in france and england and went local.

in that light, ows might need more axes and mead.

GC, the government created the current dog's breakfast. You can learn about that here:

I was talking about duplicitous Financial sharks who have proven track record for exploiting anything to steal money ie Goldman Sachs etc needing to be policed with a Iron fist and you turn it around to try and say that I'm in favour of Draconian policing of protests.

First Wall st protest

The Financial houses have a great game, they exploit every possible loop hole and blatantly break the law, then when people call for regulations to be improved to close loop holes and for current laws to be enforced Libertarians chime in to stop such actions under freedom of activity or something, you may as well be saying bank robbers can't be stopped as it impinges on their Freedom.

GC, the Democrats had two years of nearly unfettered power (near record majorities and popularity) and believe me there was no streak of libertarianism going on there.

And they prosecuted no one.

Do you know why that is?

I have some answers if you can't think of any.

No GC, this is where your anti-intellectualism have given you a real blind spot.

THE BANKS HAVE NO MONEY. YOU CAN"T OWN ANYTHING WITH NO MONEY.

They had no money that is.

The Democrats had an opportunity to break the Harvard Democrat WS "bought gov't", they had the monster at it's knees. Broke and helpless.

Did they provide the monster with the killing stroke? Did they deal death to the great whore?

No. They took the fleabagger's money and gave to the monster.

Do you know why they did that GC?

a prison and a fortress are the same design, the only difference is who controls the key.

every damn rule that allegedly protects the "worker" also adds to the lists of responsibilities of the company .. we are now at the stage where a small business cannot maintain the list of lawyers and accountants and occ health people required to meet legislation.. large corporates who can spend lots of money on such things are the only people that can operate in our current environment.

my small collective is absolutely illegal, we exist purely because we havent been busted yet - we dont have all the super, healthcare and workerscomp and and and required and nor do we earn enough to provide it.. its our own personal responsiblity to cover that out of our own wages... im happy with that yet would find myself in the absurd position of being sued for exploiting myself if we come to the attention of the law.

i dont want to live in your prison, i dont care if corporates make lots of money, i do care if children who think they can fix humanity with punitive laws keep making an environment that is only able to sustain corporates.

you even need paper work to operate a shovel now days, only a corporate has the fat to provide this level of official "training"

those horribly energy inefficient mc mansions you dont like are compulsory, legislated... im not allowed to build a modest dwelling out of reclaimed materials to a budget i can afford.

another contrary example is the esperance lead disaster in wa - every layer of government took environmental taxes and licensing, the company ignored the rules and used dangerous lead powders instead of the compressed stuff they where meant to, every level of government claimed it was another level of governments fault the rule wasnt enforced.

its still happening, lead dust is still going everywhere, yet all those laws exist and all those layers of government are collecting tax for not enforcing laws that dont mean anything ... if you are a large corporate that employs lots of people and pays lots of tax money.

job security is demanded by the same people who demand corporates have too much clout.

go figure.

(addressed to GC's deleted post)

How do people who are bankrupt own anything?

Do you know how political contributions work?

You give so that you can control legislation.

If you have no money, you can give no money and therefore cannot control legislation.

Therefore, the banks COULD NOT HAVE BAILED THEMSELVES OUT. THEY HAD NO MONEY TO GIVE.

And the Democrats bailed them out anyway.

Do you know why they did that?
