I've never quite laughed as hard as when I saw you saying, "All your condescending drivel above amounts to is "laws must be enforced." I promise you that you are not the first person to arrive at this brilliant conclusion, and the fact that you consider it a matter of great depth only highlights the superficiality of your thinking on the subject." My original comment and its defense can be, just as you say, reduced to just that, that laws must be enforced. I was specifically commenting on that point as it relates to the practical power of the President to alter which are and how. So, if you don't want people to pontificate condescendingly and at length on basic concepts whose nature is blatantly obvious, as if believing you incapable of understanding them, don't disagree with things that are blatantly obvious as if you were incapable of understanding them.
