Interesting that Gilmour has been able to retain nearly 100% of his vocal ability, Waters not so much. The solo was not particularly well played, but as a guitar player I can tell you that if you aren't playing all the time your chops for expressive lead playing go quickly.
On that "note", the last Gilmour solo tour was a giant guitar god festival, it is easily as good as he ever played and the production values were as good as anything I've ever heard. If you are even remotely interested do yourself a favor and get the DVD off Netflix.
