Prairie Style houses, the Johnson Wax building, Fallingwater, the Guggenheim, and mile-tall skyscrapers with atomic-powered elevators: yes; but a gas station? I had no idea. Wonder if the roof leaks.

The Nikolaikirche (Potsdam) is a bit odd, however, when it comes to ugly it's a rank amateur compared to the that peaked in the 1970's and has produced some of the most ugly building every built.

Compared to the rest of the buildings in Boston, City Hall is cetainly ugly. I don't think that other building with the dome and the obelisk is ugly though.

New York has its fair share of that brutalism. The projects built between the 60s and 80s are very much that way.
