It's really easy to say your opposition is dumb, but the dramatic manner in which they have mishandled events since 2008 is really calling the intelligence into question. I was watching Al Gore on Olbermann and they just seemed like they were in their own little universe, where liberalism is true and good and self evident and they are surrounded by brain dead zombies who are out to destroy all that is good and true, like running up debt forever. Who could possibly oppose that? The goodness of eternal debt is self evident.
