In American football news, my Philadelphia Eagles are kicking ass in free agency and are looking like the team to give it whatever it takes to make this their year to win the title--it hasn't happened in over fifty years and now everything is in place except for linebacker. They are gonna need to do it like the 2007 Giants, with front four pressure (not as good as those Giants) and lock-down secondary (best in recent memory). Mike Vick is the best athlete outside of Usain Bolt and this is his time to make his past as forgotten as possible.

normally sportsmen are all fit and then retire and get fat but australias most famous sporting son did it the other way around...
it seems trying to keep happy is harder work than playing cricket.

He looks like he lost a lot of muscle in that process.
The canary didn't die because this mine is dangerous, it died because it's lazy and wasn't raised with a proper work ethic.

In general, sailboats have right of way over powered craft.
However, giving the turning radius and stopping distance of a supertanker, they have right of way over everything . . .

Sounds like a good idea . . . and I didn't know before today that they had professional baseball in Australia. I thought cricket would crowd it out.

Congrats to the New Zealand All Blacks for beating France in the final of the Rugby World Cup. Only one point in it, though, 8-7, a scrappy game where the margin should have been higher (NZ missed three penalties).
