As a libertarian I find the document offensive. Elected representatives are to govern by the rule of law, not by any particular religion. That document is just as odious to me as one calling for candidates to work toward Sharia law. It's laughable to hear on one hand that Ms. Bachmann is a "Tea Party Favorite," while also hearing that the Tea Party has libertarian leanings. Ms. Bachmann is as far away from a libertarian as I have seen, and the Tea Party is just a fiscally radical wing of the GOP.

It is interesting how easy it is to get a stronger condemnation from you toward someone that agrees with you on probably 85% of the issues, as opposed to someone like Obama who is intent on enslaving you to the state with every breath he takes in.

IE I've probably started 100 threads on Obama abusing the powers of gov't more severely than this that didn't even merit a response from you.

Actually Azari, it's almost completely factually inaccurate. Under Slavery, they intentionally destroyed families in order to quash slave revolts. They didn't keep black families together, they sold families apart as a matter of policy.

There is no nanny state, there is only the total state operated for a very few [self-selected] individuals who manage and organize us.

In the ensuing chaos, the Republicans have adopted the same total state mentality as the Democrats because that is what the people want. There is no hope or running away from the totality.
