I hope they meet. Though Iran is going to have to change its game considerably. No more of this, "It was a Youtube conspiracy when Government forces were shown blowing a beautiful woman's brains out.", we all know that's bullshit even if the politics are more nuanced than we always see. (they always are) Ahmedinjat's regime is an oppressive one. He should comply with real and true humanitarian reform, dedicate himself to REAL justice and not merely pandering to the populist interests that got him elected.
Honestly the cards are in Iran's hands on this. Iran can continue to be a backward repressive regime, or it can embrace the human rights of the modern world, regardless of how imperfectly western states accomplish them. Because human rights are a good thing in and of themselves.
