ओं मणिपद्मे हूं, "Om Mani Padme Hum."
This is a mantra that I have found impossible to translate into English. It is a Tibetan mantra of the Boddhisatva of compassion.
In my own experience with chanting, this mantra reaches out from my heart to gently touch the great ground of all life, of all of our becoming and ending, of all of our joys and sorrows, in a spirit of kindness, peace, and joy.
My word really does not do justice to the experience, but Imee Ooi's muscial adaptation expresses the spirit.
