It's often the military stories that interest me the most regarding UFOs. When Denver Bob was on Spengler's Forum, I remember him mentioning that Air Force pilots see UFOs or Foo Fighters all the time, they just have too much going on to take much notice, they've got a job to do. The paper work to report it is daunting and the stigma of talking about it too much is too high a cost. Sometimes the fighters just follow a plane around for a while and then disappear.
There was a U.S. soldier on late night radio that was mentioning an event with his company in Iraq. It was night time and they were riding around in a small convoy of various military vehicles. They noticed that they were being followed by a huge disc shaped object that was hovering close enough to the ground that it was knocking over telephone poles and striking down power lines. When it got close they started waiving flares at it to "hail" it, it put a spotlight on them. Suddenly, all their vehicles just stopped and couldn't restart. So they fired all the weaponry they had at it. He thought they had damaged it and it just flew away. A crew of techs took the vehicles away and the soldier never figured out what they found.
It would be funny if we downed one and found out it was just a drone of some kind, no alien creme filling.
