Would it be possible to resize and reload those plots? They appear to be cut off on the right side.

Thanks in advance.
Never criticize anyone until you've walked several kilometres in their shoes.
Because

1. You're now several kilometres away; and

2. You've got their shoes.

So the more murders per capita and the more poverty, the more religion. I am SO surprised. Were you surprised? I was surprised.

It's almost as if existential insecurity is associated with being religious. But that couldn't possibly be. No. No way.

The two plots below exhibit clear linear trends:

So life in the US is safest and best in the godless, wealthy, highest educated, gun rejecting NE.

Interesting.

Marx appears to have been wrong. Religion is not the opiate of the masses, rather it is the crystal meth of the masses.

There's more to the plots than your rationalizations.

I see the data war has started off about as badly as it can.

I suppose that if in my neighborhood everybody is religious except one guy, and that one guy commits a murder, religion gets the blame because the murderer lived next to religious people?

No, lack of meaningful data.

If you want to study what kind of people do murders, study the people that did the murder, not people that did not do the murders.

It is a correlation between Borderers and blacks , flat out. Religion and poverty are descriptors , not causes. Any other explanation simply falls flat. If religion causes violence , why isn't Vatican City a mini- Mogadishu ?

I know you guys like to get your atheist cracks in , but criminology isn't a place where it's warranted.

Ok. Let's really get offensive , then. Correlate for all categories of crime with race. I expect the same level of smugness with those results.

What's that ? It's gauche ? Gee , that might lead me to believe that it's only okay to point fingers at some people and not others. Wonder why.
