Canada appears to have weathered the recent financial situation quite well.

No bank failures - bailouts, no real estate collapse, economy performing relatively well.

Makes one wonder about how this debate has been framed in the US.

I've been watching CS move left for several months. Wonder what is behind it.

For starters, you usually only do the Demopublican thing when it's a Republican talking.

Entitlement numbers are such that you can make a shock claim from either side fairly easily, even if it ends up being totally baseless or irrelevant.

Whether the US truly has the lowest social spending or not is not really important to me AT ALL if said programs will bankrupt the nation. More interested in the bankruptcy part.

Well based on past statements, you are the one with the issue, eg Sarah Palin caused a murder simply by using the word "target" according to you, so when you mention blood from slit throats I know EXACTLY what you mean.
