And then you guys need to consider all the other contamination, from antifreeze, motor oil, raw sewage, etc., caused by the tsunami.

Here is a map that shows the epicenter of the recent earthquake (indicated by the star in the map) , and a measure of the distribution of the intensity earthquake at various locations. It is fortunate that the epicenter was in the sea, and quite far from the populated regions. Had the epicenter been in Tokyo, millions could have died.

4-month old baby swept away in the surge, but didn't drown...or get crushed by floating debris...or die of exposure for 4 days....
