The education debt bubble is terrible. Teaching everyone that they should go to college was one of the worst things to happen to this country. It just made college into second high school while leaving people in debt.

It looks like the USA jumped entirely on purpose on the track of inevitable bankrupcy.

When I came out of HS , I had a good place to land at the best regional university in the honors program . After I sat down and saw what I'd be looking at to get a BS in what I wanted , I realized it would be probably $40k of debt ( now it is considerably higher) . As a poor kid that never lived in a house that cost that much, you might as well have said it was going to be forty bajilliongazillion dollars. I couldn't see it . I took another path .

There have been a dew of times when I regretted not going . There have been many more where I was very glad I did not . Seeing people that have been out of college for 15 years , still under student loans, will do the trick .

I'm pissing away all of my assets and borrowing all I can at the moment in exchange for education, on the assumption that there's no retirement and that the markets are being manipulated beyond any short term redemption.

I will move entirely to gold on the next even moderate stock market upswing, in preparation for the crash that exploding oil prices will create over the next while.

I anticipate a moderate upswing around Christmass.

The crash is trickier; whenever the king of the KSA kicks the bucket will be the beginning of the end of the oil status quo and the markets will stop serving our elites to their satisfaction.

The elites will demand bailout after bailout and that should chase pretty well all of the smallfry out, because the bailouts will rule, not value. After that, look for them to clamp down on gold and other solid instruments to try to force the small investor to play their game, after all they don't want to use their money! The small investor will not comply.

When, or if, or how, this petulant herking and jerking will end is anyone's guess. I fear that the capitalists will end up buying themselves another revolution.

The safest place now to be in is " American stocks " .. American stocks will pay dramatic return in less than 2-3 yrs .. dramatic

Why and how ? ?


Only way out for America from this is higher stock price .. that is the only chance for America

Higher stock prices will make corporation recapitalize, buy new equipment, higher new employee, people will feel richer, start spending, people will start paying their mortgages, less foreclosures , etc etc . .
