i actually find this somewhat interesting, despite myself.

for some their is no argument with the fundamentalist religious people that their is one true way which everyone must follow, the only argument is that it shouldnt be religious people defining it, but scientific people.

for me, the entire premise of one true way is a diabolical hell of human politics and the enlightenment was actually about the catholics overreaching on definition and control ... religion had little todo with it, its the limits of humans and politics.

or to put it another way, can you say ecumenical without choking.
