The whole album Washing Machine by Sonic Youth takes me back to New York City. They mention it in one of album's tunes but, it's more than that.

Foetus is a great Industrial/Jazz/Punk band from frontman Jim Thirwell. Love this track.
A good Big Band Jazz-Punk sound on this one.

My high school girlfriend was heavy on Skinny Puppy. At the time I was getting out of my death, black clothes, darkness forever, life is shit phase so, Skinny was off limits for me. I had just spent a year obsessing over The Cure's Pornography and new I was in some emotional trouble.

jerryberry I've actually oddly enough never heard pornography before, and I am generally fairly well versed in the Cure for someone who is not a gigantic fan. My favorite song of theirs is 'Pictures of You'. If you tell any Cure fan that your favorite album is Disintegration though, watch out.
