How do you feed them through the oil press?

They exclusively use a state press. It is operated by a crank.

I understand that they have difficulties with adulteration, no matter how furiously the crank is wound up. However they spin the obscure mechanism at the heart of the machine, there always seems to be a problem with stones being released. Apparently this has been addressed in the official design specification, but I suspect it hasn't been fully implemented.

Be careful what you wish for. Oil has typically dragged down civilization everywhere that it has been found in abundance.

From Uighur to Bosporus and Nile encompass much more than Oil & gas (2/3 of world reserves) .. you name it they have it .. top that with smart, intelligent population and proven Persian leadership .. ..
It's best west does the dirty work in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Central Asia, once softened up, hand over to Iran to finish the Wahhabi and Salafi menace once for all .. after that it's smoooth sailing for " Democratic Federation of Persian Nations " to lead the heard to modernity within the Persian civilization ..
