Great Film Scenes and Otherwise

Any scene from any film regardless of what the critics may think.

Never criticize anyone until you've walked several kilometres in their shoes.
Because

1. You're now several kilometres away; and

2. You've got their shoes.

Could have been any one of a dozen scenes from the movie , but this is a perennial favorite .

Don't know what it is, but I'm agin'it.

Oh baby, you are so talented, and they are so dumb.

This is IMO the perfect Hollywood movie. It's like every Hollywood cliche executed seemlessly, down to the relationship of the actors off-screen.

The last scene of Satyricon wherein the characters on the boat transform into a Roman fresco.

Unable to locate a video clip.

one of my favourites, which is universally panned as being a terrible movie is the remake of planet of the apes by tim burton.

in particular, the scenes where the sexual chemistry is for the chimp instead of the bikini babe - makes me smile every time.

Battle of Algiers is genius. I love that scene. It's so pertinent now, and I was so amazed at how timeless the imagery is in that film.

My guess is that few people have seen it outside of Japan, so I'll only post the first part . . . and not give away the plot.

Comedy. A girl goes back in time to the days of the Japanese Bubble Economy to save Japan . . .

Quite a few amusing scenes, but again posted only the first [subtitled] part.
