To my surprise and delight I found out that somebody had posted on YouTube the only known recording of H.L. Mencken. It's a rather long interview with the "Sage of Baltimore", but to me it was worth to hear him rambling about this and that. I must say that I was somewhat surprised at his accent.

Thank you. That H. L. Mencken's voice has been recorded is a surprise. Even more surprised that he sounds like James Stewart.
