Spengler's new column mentions mathematician . ?

Spengler's column is pretty standard Larouchite stuff.

Where Spengler departs from Larouchite orthodoxy is by replacing Plato with Abraham, so we go from having the Larouchite cosmology with Plato and Aristotle as eternal rivals to a new one with Abraham and Aristotle as rivals. It's the same Larouchite psychology though.

For those new to the forum, "Spengler" is former long-time Larouchite lieutenant David P. Goldman.

I was just going to post this. This is good news. This experiment should do a lot to resolve questions. Science at its best.

At the Vienna University of Technology, sophisticated atomchips have been used to create pairs of quantum mechanically connected atom-twins. Until now, similar experiments were only possible using photons.



An ultra cold Bose-Einstein condensate emits pairs of atoms in an atom-chip.

Someone has to come up with an experiment to test it. I bet we won't have to wait too long. My guess: it will be tested within five years.

A technical article, but for those interested in the developments in materials sciences, this offers a quality summary of continuous time quantum Monte Carlo algorithms for the solution of quantum impurity problems. Splendid review of CT- INT, AUX, HYB, and J algorithms as well as CT-QMC dynamical mean field theory (DMFT) and nanoscientific applications.

Diamonds are big enough to be seen and yet have quantum effects. Very interesting experiment.

It seems if one smashes things together and a particle flies off that doesn't prove the particle existed before. That is NASCAR logic.
