What to do with this website
Posted: Sat Jul 24, 2010 1:39 pmSo, I have a lot of things i can do with this site. I picked the name diegetics because I am very fascinated by the way we tell ourselves stories that influence our lives. I'd like the site to somehow be themed to that.
I am very terrible at self-motivating. I like to work with people. Without the input of other people I can keep the ideas locked inside my head and be satisfied with my own internal monologue, I don't need to catalogue it externally.
So this site can be a great number of things. I know how to setup a great deal of social networking style applications to make this site have a robust and feature rich user experience.
So if you have ideas for something you'd like to contribute or collaborate on, let me know, and perhaps we can make something cool.
One thing I wanted to do was create a wiki style war map, where people could update for conflicts. Google Maps has APIs that can be used to create custom maps. I don't really know how to do that. If anyone knows how to do it, or knows anyone who'd be interested in such an endeavor, please let me know.
