winter is here and im watching tv and lurking on net forums cause its cold and miserable outside.

i was wondering if some of the more hip to tv industry people knew if CSI:Miami is some kind of twisted surreal humour thing. all the cop shows are exaggerated and a bit silly but its like they dont even bother with any sense of reality with that one, it stands apart from the CSI stable.

is it as a parody perhaps ?

even the colour style of it is absurd, to my photographic eye its some cheesy sunset filter cranked up to max in all scenes, even indoor ones - orange skin everywhere!

So much tv seems to resemble the vitriolic parody of yesteryear that I've long since given up watching it - preferring to cherry pick the good stuff off the internet.
