noddy Do you know this Melbourne band?
They do a lot of sort of electronica/blues about capitalism. It's pretty good stuff.

rings a bell, but alas my memories from the band scene are ermm, stuck somewhere in the band scene of a few decades ago 
the era is right tho, will have to chase up some recorded memories hehe.
In another life I was a jazz/pfunk/metal guy in the primus,bungle kinda world - didnt play melbourne but spent plenty of time there.
