"Daughter of the Moon"
This illustrates a Plains Indian legend. A young woman turned away all suitors so that she could stay in her parents tepee and care for them. She looked after them into their old age. First her mother and then her father eventually died. He was taken to be the spirit of the moon. The daughter looked at her situation. She had discouraged relations with other members of the tribe for so long that now she found herself alone. She begged the spirits to take her up to the sky too. They obliged and she was made the Evening Star and now is forever close to the moon.

"Nat-ah-ki"
The Coldmaker sends the chilly winds of snow down from the Rocky Mountains sweeping across the plains. Colors become muted and blankets are pulled tight to ward off the cold.

"Out Past Round Rock"
Our aim is victory — victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival.
