Now I'm far from home
Spending time alone
It's time to set my demons free
Been put to the test
My mind laid to rest
I'm on a psycho holiday

Never criticize anyone until you've walked several kilometres in their shoes.
Because

1. You're now several kilometres away; and

2. You've got their shoes.

Not much of a Megadeth fan, but you'd be a fool to deny Mustaine's influence in the advancement of the heavy metal guitar.

This was my favorite of his. Relevant.

There was something ironic about the commercial for the new show 'homecoming' about the return of veterans who were fighting overseas.

In terms of metal guitar that really influenced my view of metal guitar, I think that this song is very seminal.

Of course, I maintain that this is the finest metal song ever made. The guitar is just ridiculous.

But if you take that and update it in terms of objective evolution, I think that you cannot compare to:

And then the finest rock and roll recording ever made:

And my favorite band of all time:

I think KMFDM is one of the most underrated guitar bands ever. It isn't the main focus like with so much other rock, but Juke Joint Jezebel has one of the most memorable guitar riffs of any song ever. And Hell since I am going there lets throw down some Nine Inch Nails.

I'd be remiss if I left out Trent Reznor and Al Jourgensen ripping off Black Sabbath.

I WANNA REACH OUT AND TOUCH THE SKY!!! - I can relate.
