Well it may have been made up but it wasn't by me, it was by people like James Carville and that Dem speechwriter guy that runs all the Democrat Presidentail campaigns (Shrum?), and echoed by countless others.
The conservative epoch may flip in 10 years (anything is possible), but certainly it won't be 2, like the next FDR/Lincoln/Washington/Reagan Obama's was. In all honesty it lasted about 6 months. I remember the day well, sometime in June '09 when the House passed the Cap and Trade, and the country said "sorry, that's a trillion too much". All down hill from there.
