the disconnect between the "practical heads" who take all things on a human political level and the "esoteric heads" with abstract reductionist thoughts like first cause of time and space and the brainf*ck that is infinity always seems to leave these threads in a chaotic talk past each other state.

to my mind, its that disconnect which leaves the whole relativism == nihilism meme horeshit.

the esoteric stuff is relativistic by definition and the context doesnt change in athiest or theist worlds - both are the "limited" having opinions on the "unlimited" and rationally irrational.

the practical stuff needs to be non relatavistic, or you will get smothered by the other squabbling monkeys, but thats neither here nor there to me when it comes to mind porn about the existance of existance.

yet at the same time, their is no real split between religion and politics, life is what you are and the consequences of your actions which are the consequences of your priorities... messy stuff, im fairly confident we will kill each other over it for plenty of time to come, and im absolutely certain you are all missing a vital point and possibly missing vital brain functions, because you arent me.
