Resilient Communities in Conflict: how to resolve?

Postby rednblacklumberjack » Thu Nov 03, 2011 7:52 pm

If RC's become the new states, so to speak, what options are available to them for conflict resolution? What might they be able to do that state's couldn't? What weaknesses may make RC's prone to the less-foreseen misfortune?

Something in between a refugee camp, walmart, a fan club, a factory and a laboratory. Its kind of a nebulous term, tbh. Its a good question...

Hate to be a one note Johnny, but security is going to be an issue. Decentralization is all fun and games, but the first ones to take advantage of that will be the criminals.
Don't know what it is, but I'm agin'it.

Is there a working example of one of these "resilient communities" that somebody can point me to?

I agree with DoU that security is paramount. Radically decentralized societies tend to look like Somalia.
