A law made cash in stupidity like that seems much more enforceable in WA...
...than in NYC, where there are not only more crosswalks, but more laws against running red lights and jaywalking...

not when iphone 9.0 can interrogate the street around it for safety information and reports you to the police for your own good.
i dare say NYC will be an earlier adopter of such things than my hick town , my house is less than an hour from the city and still only gets mobile coverage on a good day

Its not dangerous to cross the street with headphones. Its dangerous to cross while texting.
The canary didn't die because this mine is dangerous, it died because it's lazy and wasn't raised with a proper work ethic.
