I've reviewed excerpts from the Dennis King writings against Spengler, they are subjective and amorphous, not any smoking gun at all.

Spengler's confessions to do with his works in this period seem somewhat incomplete as well but I'm not going to judge him, nor should anyone else, as nobody but him knows the real story.

I have been quite outspoken against Spengies' faults but the above is not any reason to get him fired. Even if it is, I fail to see why anyone here, none of whom reads that rag I'm sure, should care, or do anything about it.

In point of fact everyone on this board owes a debt to Spengler for enriching their lives immensely.

hes a shit stirrer and a lover of conspiracies, you should like him azari, peas in a pod, but he has a nicer writing style and doesnt quite blame the iranians as much as you blame the jews, he spares a bit of bile for the likes of me aswell.

his persona lets rip on anything that isnt his tastes, and while I originally found him capable of being thought provoking, he does seem to have slipped into the echo chamber rut.

not being particularly concerned with the affairs of the pure ones, im not that fussed about what he thinks, and my only thought is that some people seem to take him very seriously and give him more "power" than I think he has.. hes just not that relevant outside his small group of grumpy like mindeds.

Fascinating stuff. Goldman is definitely a weirdo, that's for sure. Consider there are lots more like him operating in high-level positions, shuttling between government and the private sector. A frightening thought, that.

Most astonishing in Azrael's link is the allegation that he went to Europe to avoid being subpoenaed for his role in the manipulation of a cosmetic company's stocks. If true, this is the real reason he dropped out of the LaRouche movement, not his self-proclaimed long return to Judaism. LaRouchies still exist, which surprises me because despite all the paranoia that floats around the Internet, I never hear anything about them. I'm only reminded of their existence when I see them on college campuses. I suppose the legitimacy of the movement collapsed long ago and if the young people holding up those signs of Obama lately with a toothbrush mustache are any indicator, the intellectual capital of the movement has greatly depreciated since Goldman's days.

Now, has anyone considered that perhaps Goldman never left the LaRouche movement at all? That his repetitive cribbing of Rosenzweig and bizarre theses about the primacy of the Jews are actually intentionally designed to be repulsive, thereby furthering LaRouche's antisemitic agenda? Hmm...

It's amazing the kind of things people get caught up in. International drug trafficking, stock manipulation, cults, think tanks, and conservatories. There's enough material here for a great intellectual thriller. Perhaps I'll call it "Goldman".

Spengler has long stopped being a subject of any interest to me. He is indeed a simple hired gun and, once that has been ascertained, he stopped being relevant. He is a bore and I have long stopped reading his stuff.

I find David Goldman an interesting guy. His essays are usually a mix of fact, fiction and suspense, which I find very appealing. Because this mix also covers a wide range of subjects, it makes his output thought provoking and inspiring. Spenglerboard was in no time populated with a similar mix of people representing that multidimensional landscape. The diversity and variety was very appealing and some of that now exists here, which is great. Nobody can be missed.
