I think these guys may be the missing link. TI says he is too busy to do a blog (very sad to hear about your wife), and people like Sam or Collingwood don't even do Spengler much anymore, so I'm wondering if anybody is in contact with these fellers. One of the great elements of the original board was weaving broad culture into geopolitical and financial affairs. I can swing the last two but the first is not my bag. We would really need someone like this. The old Spengler forum really was at another level by bringing this to the table.
I have been charged by Ibrahim and a couple of others of being a forum destroying troll and so if these people disappeared because of me I would be happy to step aside, but I sort of doubt it, we co-existed for very long periods of time and could be very friendly and exchanged pms on more than one occasion. So if it is more an issue of they lost interest in whatever the dominant content was this would be a really effective solution, giving them a prominent blog in a forum to drive content.
