Obama sends troops to Central Africa

Rush Limaugh hilariously criticized this last week, and hearing about that it ho I heard about this.

Jeremy Scahill says that US Special Forces are involved in a bare minimum of five African countries, without any official or Congressional sanction. 100 troops is obviously a Special Forces group, so this fits with his account. It would be just lovely to erase the LRA off the face of the Earth, but I don't see how this benefits the US or what this hopes to achieve in a geopolitical sense..

Obama sees no path to re-election via anything happening domestically, so it looks like he'll try to gin up some buzz by killing off some brown people. If you are not an American and on the brown side, watch out.
