The U.S. and Israel are isolated in the Middle East, the U.S. should get other countries in the region involved in Afghanistan and threaten to pull out, and the increasing poverty and downward mobility in the U.S. is reaching a level where social unrest is certain.

Present predicament America is in is 65 yrs in making

America needs a " Total Make Over "

Economy, Tax laws, foreign policy, strategic alliances , energy policy, education, health .. you name it

What we need is to stop fighting the Cold War.

Nah, there are plenty of ways to devote industrial manufacture of that sort with the same amount of funding that would be just as profitable.

The Military Industrial Complex could be retooled to do other things if people actually wanted that to happen.

Fear and I think a straight up desire to murder underpins a lot of it.

I keep telling you. Americans are violent people. Even taking blacks and white trash out of the equation, America was founded on theft, expansionism, genocide and slavery. It shapes our attitudes on wealth, on security, on human rights. You don't just break with historical character just because you have two generations ( going on three) that were propagandized to know little or nothing of their real heritage. Leopards don't change their spots just because their eyes are closed.
