nafta is prima facia evidence there is little practical difference in a vote for R bush or D clinton for president

we are just talking time take to develop, sure they got their faster with help but its not like they dont have the resources to get their on their own steam.
possibly a decade earlier but more likely only a few years.

yeh well, i was just thinking, perhaps too outloud, that the baseline of tech is such now that china is going to have a terrible amount of weaponary and capability with or without secrets leaking from the usa.
i truly believe it was budget and capability that allowed you guys to get so far ahead, not some special national character.
