That's what Jaws told me when I brought him down this morning to Mill's Fleet & Farm to purchase some canning supplies. Didn't stop him from making up about eight batches of strawberry preserves, though. Either he expects to eat it or no longer worry about the diabetes.....

How do the same guys get to keep making failed end-of-the-world predictions? Seriously, I don't have a joke to go with that. I don't understand how it happens. "Ok, this time...."

But for the sake of the elect those day will be shortened."

Why is there no question now?
In the nineteen years since 1994? Was written the biblical evidence for 2011 has greatly solidified. Today there is no longer any question, May 21, 2011 is the day in which Jesus Christ will return.

I'd just like to point out that the OT has a very complex and arcane way for the faithful to identify a false prophet. Stick with me on this , it's kinda complex. Here it goes ;

I am booked to enjoy a good lunch on Saturday, as a guest of one of the Oxford colleges. It doesn't seem a bad way to celebrate the end of the world, but at what time, and which time zone, does the world end? I don't want to miss lunch, before the inevitable descent to the nether regions, where good wines and port are probably in short supply . Alas, even in this world, you can only enjoy the accompanying cigar outside now, so hope the weather stays dry.

First time I heard about this I was going to ask the guy who was peddling this crap some questions. I like to troll proselytizers once in a while. But a lady walked by and said to him, "We don't know the day or the hour.", and I left it at that, it was satisfying enough.
