About time.
This brings up no emotion in me, although I still clearly remember 9/11. I understand that people need to gloat at the victory, but cheering over someone's death is not something I would ever do. Had to be done, and it's good that it was done, but I won't be going out with a flag in downtown Boston to cheer.
Politically, a nice boost to Obama, and a lot of egg on Pakistan's face, but I doubt anything will shift in the US/Pak relationship. If anything, the US-India rapprochement will move a bit faster in the direction it would have moved in anyway. The only way this news is significant is in PR, as a bit of US bookkeeping.
