My position, remove US from ME completely, hand keys to Iran. Do what you want with it. 4 ports in the region for trade, open auction of all goods on site, no trade agreements, no US feet on any ME soil. People that want to sell show up, people that want to buy show up. Done deal. Everybody happy.

The US Postal Service is losing business as more people use e-mail and pay their bills on-line. So they raise the price of stamps.

We have an economic crisis due to the collapse of a real estate bubble based on fake money. So let's inject hundreds of billions of dollars that we don't actually have to stimulate the economy. More fake money.

Radical Islamic terrorists attack us mainly because they fear we want to impose western values. So we invade Iraq and Afghanistan and impose western values.

Iran thinks they need to become a nuclear power to keep us from contolling them again. So we invade and occupy two of their bordering countries and establish military bases in every other bordering country.

Meanwhile, weekly protests in Tripoli in support of the Syrian people took place Friday, with demonstrators burning the Iranian flag in protest at the “Persian project in the Arab region.”

During the Friday sermon, Hamza Mosque’s Imam Zakaria al-Masri condemned the security crackdown on protests in Syria, adding that the Baath party is part of an Iranian project in the region.

“The [Syrian people] have tolerated the Baath party for more than 40 years, [including] its oppression, suppression and attempts to alter the [Syrian people's] religious and Arab identity for the sake of the Iranian republic and its Persian project in the Arab region,” Masri said.

Masri also asked Prime Minister Najib Mikati to reject the project of establishing an Iranian empire in the Arab world at the expense of his people and religion.

Syria is different to other Arab states that have rightful demands for reform, Iranian Ambassador Ghadanfar Rukn Abadi said Friday, because of the conspiracies it faces due to its support for Hezbollah.

“Iran has a principle that supports the rightful demands of all people with no exception including the Syrian people – who have reform demands in the country, and Iran supports rightful demands. But the situation in Syria is different from all other countries in the world given the plans and conspiracies to attack Syria due to its supportive stance toward the resistance against Israeli occupation,” Abadi told reporters after a meeting with Free Patriotic Movement leader Michel Aoun in Rabieh.

Abadi also said that Iran supports popular movements that are not “fabricated” by Israel and supported by the U.S.
