I don't know Caskhades. Critiques like that are based off of a false premise. The MSM has reported about the Tsunami and the damage it's done already.

There is significant research for better reactors. Although the molten salt reactors are still another 10 or 20 years in the future, the uranium nitride, lead-bismuth type reactors are much closer:
