became a favorite officer of Somaza's
and even married in to the dictators family
eventually washed up in Miami
now chisels marble in to art
gave me a little cup of coffee cubano
and remarked if he were at che's grave today
he would give him a salute....
my response was even though
Id have done differently in 62
id salute him today too.

That is sort of what we did in Haiti. The organization we trained in Haiti is really moving and making something of themselves without us.

On Onctober, 24th, died in Cuba Laura Pollan, leader of the gorup " Damas de Branco", who fought bravely for freedom in Cuba and for the release of 75 political prisioners arrested by the Castro dictatorship in 2003, the Black Spring.
