Nothing wrong with hydrogenated fats and oils...... if you use them in soap. Margarine left out on the counter gives me the squicks. After all, if it doesn't spoil, is it really something to eat?......

No, not white balsamic. Red balsamic yes. I love fresh herbs in my salad. Cilantro, Dill and Scallions are a big hit in my house. Gotta chop them really finely.


YMix: To keep it on topic. (I kind of like that we hijack a thread about non-food with a discussion of real food) I don't mind eating what is described there, I don't think it's as horrific as people make it out to be. I don't really care if my taco meat has oats in it to be honest. A great way to extend meat flavor is barley.

If you can't tell that your olive oil has been adulterated with hazelnut , you are either a hopeless gourmand and nobody including you should care or the application for which you used it renders differences in taste mostly irrelevant. Not saying that it's a good thing that Ibrahim's cousin pulled a bait and switch , just sayin'.

I was given a sachet of tomato sauce mixed with industrial acetic acid Should have stuck to 1000 island....

French dressing is 5 parts virgin olive oil, I part white wine vinegar, salt and pepper, nothing else.

Sunflower oil is healthier than rape seed.
