I already boycott flying. I have a friend in the Philippines that I would like to visit if I could drive to Mexico unmolested and fly out from there. I suppose coming back over the border I could be strip searched for no reason.

I suppose it will only be a matter of time before everyone within US borders will be subject to strip search, anytime, anywhere. That is the obvious end game of the TSA.

They search and mess with people that aren't in the profile for the most part, on purpose. But then again, the security apparatus has nothing to do with terrorism, either. Unless we are talking about terrorizing the American people. It's really good for that.

This is what happens when you have a nation of cowards screaming for someone to keep them safe. It is the inevitable path.

After 9/11 and before the creation of the TSA, I took several flights with no concern at all. It was and is my belief that the kind of hijackings that occurred on 9/11 won't happen again because now we are all aware of the consequences of allowing such a thing to proceed.

The TSA scares me, but the terrorists they ostensibly hunt do not. That means, for me personally, the TSA are more terrorist than the terrorists.

It's a nation of cowards that demands protection so invasive that it is barely distinguishable from incarceration. Last I saw, the groping at airports had majority support. People don't act like chickenshit right out, but look at the cognitive contortions made when the government does something otherwise reprehensible but justifies it by virtue of the threat of terrorists. They trip over each other to excuse it. Molest the kids, murder a US citizen without trial, monitor all the things, go ahead. If you don't, someone might get an Islamic splinter.

I'll stick with " nation of cowards".
